Sevenseas Supplychain Solutions Pvt Ltd. having AEO status. We are involved in Freight Forwarding, Custom Clearance, Warehousing and Support Services. For our expansion plan, we need dynamic, hardworking, and result oriented team players for the above at our corporate office in Delhi. We are having our own offices at various locations in India.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced professional to manage and oversee import/export shipments, ensuring smooth and timely customs clearance while maintaining compliance with all regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of customs procedures, HSN classification, allied acts, documentation, and customer coordination, along with strong analytical and reporting skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor import and export shipments from pre-arrival to customs release.
- Pre-intimate consignees about customs clearance procedures, paperwork requirements, and allied acts compliance.
- Provide daily updates to consignees on shipment status and resolve queries raised by customs officers.
- Prepare and send Daily Status Reports (DSR) with complete clearance updates to customers.
- Manage customs clearance processes to ensure compliance (CCR – Customs Compliance Reports).
- Ensure correct HSN classification and adherence to Allied Acts for all shipments.
- Prioritize clearance workflows to achieve the fastest possible transit times.
- Maximize pre-clearance opportunities according to established service guidelines.
- Liaise with Customs, Air, and Sea Cargo Authorities for smooth operations.
- Maintain timely billing and collections.
- Use ICEGATE, Softlink, PDA Reconciliation, and other systems for documentation and reporting.
- Coordinate with clients through emails, calls, and regular updates to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure data accuracy in reports and documentation (90%+ accuracy).
- Foster team collaboration and mentor junior staff when needed.
Required Knowledge & Experience:
- Must be a 'G' card holder.
- 10–15 years of experience in import/export shipment clearance by sea and air.
- Strong knowledge of HSN classification, customs procedures, Allied Acts, and CCR (Compliance Reporting).
- Experience in CHA operations and international freight forwarding.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Softlink reporting, Google Sheets, MS Office, and other relevant tools.
- Experience in PDA reconciliation and managing customer satisfaction metrics.
- Experience in CHA companies is preferred.
- Ability to work as a team player and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
Preferred Skills:
- Expertise in valuable cargo clearance.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and customer coordination abilities.
- Knowledge of customs compliance best practices and operational efficiencies.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
