About the role
As a Project Manager at Syndeticom, you’ll lead the successful delivery of electrical, communications, and digital infrastructure projects while maintaining strong client relationships. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role combines technical project management with a strong customer-focused approach, requiring effective stakeholder engagement, commercial awareness, and the ability to build long-term client partnerships.
Key responsibilities
Planning and Management of Projects
- Establish clear project objectives, deliverables, and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders. Define the project’s scope to ensure all activities align with organisational goals.
- Develop detailed project timelines, setting milestones and deadlines for key deliverables. Regularly assess progress to ensure adherence to the schedule.
- Monitor project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and resources are utilised efficiently. Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or safety.
- Ensure the appropriate allocation of personnel, equipment, and materials. Track resource usage to prevent over-expenditure or resource shortages.
- Strategically allocate resources to projects and optimise onsite scheduling.
Client Services & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service delivery.
- Lead client meetings, provide project updates, and manage expectations regarding timelines, costs, and deliverables.
- Identify opportunities for additional works and collaborate with internal teams to support business growth.
- Resolve client concerns professionally and efficiently, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships with key clients.
Skills & Experience
- Strong background in electrical, communications, construction, or infrastructure project delivery.
- Exceptional client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing client expectations and delivering projects in fast-paced environments.
What You Need
- Experience managing electrical, telecommunications, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated success in client-facing project management roles.
- Electrical trade background, electrical project experience, or relevant industry knowledge highly regarded.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies and commercial project management principles.
- ACMA or equivalent license, plus a valid Driver’s License.
- Projects In Controlled Environments (PRINCE) methodology experience, highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, project management, Engineering, or similar (preferred)
