Job Summary
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in building and maintaining automated test scripts for web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong coding skills, hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks, and a solid understanding of software testing principles. The role involves working closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases through effective automation.
Key Responsibilities
● Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test scripts.
● Build and enhance automation frameworks using Playwright or Selenium.
● Automate functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test scenarios.
● Review requirements and identify automation opportunities early in the development cycle.
● Execute automated test suites and analyze failures.
● Debug automation scripts and work with developers to resolve issues.
● Develop reusable utilities and libraries to improve automation efficiency.
● Perform API automation and validation using REST APIs.
● Validate data using SQL queries.
● Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
● Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
● Work in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint deliverables.
Required Skills
● 2–3 years of experience in QA Automation.
● Strong programming skills in Java or TypeScript/JavaScript.
● Hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium WebDriver.
● Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
● Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or similar testing frameworks.
● Knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) and automation framework design.
● Experience with API testing and automation using Postman or REST Assured.
● Good SQL skills for database validation.
● Experience using Git for version control.
● Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
● Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
Good to Have
● Experience testing mobile applications using Appium.
● Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
● Experience with Docker or containerized test execution.
● Exposure to performance or load testing tools.
● Experience working on cloud testing platforms such as BrowserStack or LambdaTest.
Coding & Technical Expectations
● Ability to write clean, reusable, and maintainable automation code.
● Strong understanding of data structures, collections, loops, exception handling, and file handling.
● Ability to debug automation failures independently.
● Experience designing automation frameworks or extending existing ones.
● Good understanding of synchronization techniques, waits, locators, and handling dynamic web elements.
● Familiarity with design patterns used in test automation.
Educational Qualification
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
