Job Summary
We are looking for a Technical Executive / Technical Engineer with hands-on experience in rooftop solar projects. The candidate will be responsible for site surveys, installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and as per quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys, technical inspections, and feasibility assessments.
- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of rooftop solar PV systems.
- Read and verify SLDs, electrical drawings, and installation layouts.
- Troubleshoot issues related to solar modules, inverters, batteries, AC/DC wiring, earthing, and protection systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of installed systems.
- Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and contractors for timely project execution.
- Provide technical support to the sales team during customer visits and project discussions.
- Prepare commissioning reports, service reports, and technical documentation.
- Train customers on system operation and ensure compliance with electrical safety and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in rooftop solar installation, commissioning, or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical testing, troubleshooting, and site execution.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel for project execution and service support.
