Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Landscaping Manager to plan, develop, execute, and maintain landscaping projects across farms, residential/commercial properties, gardens, and agricultural project sites. The candidate will be responsible for managing landscaping teams, plants, irrigation systems, materials, vendors, and overall site maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute landscaping projects from design to completion.
- Supervise daily landscaping, gardening, plantation, and maintenance activities.
- Develop landscape layouts, plantation plans, lawns, gardens, pathways, and green spaces.
- Select suitable plants, trees, shrubs, grasses, and ornamental species based on soil and climate conditions.
- Manage irrigation, drip systems, sprinklers, water management, and drainage systems.
- Monitor plant health and coordinate pest, disease, and nutrient management.
- Supervise gardeners, landscapers, technicians, and contract workers.
- Prepare daily work schedules and allocate manpower according to project requirements.
- Monitor the quality and timely completion of landscaping work.
- Coordinate with architects, civil teams, project managers, vendors, and clients.
- Estimate manpower, materials, plants, equipment, and other resources required for projects.
- Manage procurement and inventory of plants, fertilizers, soil, manure, tools, and landscaping materials.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
- Maintain landscaping records, photographs, reports, and project documentation.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of landscaping equipment and machinery.
- Control project costs and minimize wastage.
- Ensure workplace safety and proper usage of PPE by workers.
- Handle client requirements, site visits, complaints, and service follow-ups.
- Train and guide landscaping staff on proper gardening and maintenance practices.
- Implement sustainable landscaping practices, including water conservation and organic methods.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. Agriculture / Horticulture / Landscape Architecture / Botany or related qualification.
- Diploma or certification in Horticulture / Landscaping will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 8+ years of experience in landscaping, horticulture, gardening, farm development, or related project management.
- Experience in handling landscaping teams and multiple sites is preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
