Job Summary
We are hiring an Academic Counsellor to guide students in choosing suitable courses and colleges, and to support them throughout the admission process. This role involves counselling, student relationship management, and admissions coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide career guidance and counselling to students (in-person, phone, or online)
- Understand student requirements (academic background, interests, budget)
- Recommend appropriate colleges and courses
- Assist students with the complete admission process
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain engagement
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress
Required Skills
- Strong communication skills in Tamil and English
- Good interpersonal and counselling skills
- Ability to handle student and parent queries professionally
- Basic knowledge of higher education courses and colleges
- Organized and consistent in follow-ups
Eligibility
- Any graduate (freshers can apply)
- Prior experience in counselling, education, or sales is an advantage
