Objective of the position:
Brief Statement of Job Objective:Reporting to Manager PE & QA., this job will have to assist to Manager Process Excellence & QA for the Process quality,continial improvement and monitoring of Product Quality.
Required Educational Qualification :- Diploma or Degree in Metallurgy Engineering with 6-8 years of experience in similar field.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and inspect the production process to ensure compliance with internal quality standards,
- customer specifications, and applicable regulations.
- Conduct in-process audits, first piece approvals, patrol inspections, and end-of-line checks.
- Identify, document, and analyze process non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
- Work with cross-functional teams (Production, Maintenance, Engineering) to resolve quality issues in real-
- time.
- Maintain and update in-process inspection plans, control plans, and standard operating procedures
- (SOPs).
- Use quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys, and FMEA for problem-
- solving and process improvement.
- Ensure that all measuring equipment and gauges are calibrated and properly used at in-process stages.
- Responsible to give inputs for Metallurgy department
- Activity member of Process Excellence project and QSD for machining /tooling supplier.
- Ensure all products are in compliance with customer requirements and specifications.
- Responsible for effective 5'S and documentation in his own designated area.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports and KPIs.
- Stay current on industry trends in the area of quality and process.
- Identifying and correcting any quality concerns or misconceptions.
- Maintain and track all required documents required on the various products and incoming material.
- Should keep a close track of internal audits that are being conducted.
- Should visit vendors / suppliers/Customers premises as and when required.
- Active participation in Internal and External audits and 8D's.
- Should implement and work on BOS and new concepts.
- Apart from above role, basic day to day functions and functional knowledge.
- To assist MR for system and other work.
Authorities:-
- Has authority to stopping production due to quality problems
- Has authority to report any deviational work regarding quality and system to Top mgmt.
- Has authority to verified and sign the GRN of productive material.
- Has authority to stop any incoming material as per procedure and report to PE.
- Has authority to ask CA & PA from suppliers.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
