- On-Task Prompting: Keeps the student engaged, focused, and organized, especially during transitions or distracting activities.
- Peer Interaction: Encourages the student to start conversations, share with classmates, and participate in group activities.
- Social Cues: Models appropriate classroom behavior and helps the student read social cues during interactions.
- Behavior Tracking: Monitors the student for signs of frustration, sensory overload, or disruptive behavior.
- Intervention & Safety: Implements personalized behavior management strategies to de-escalate situations and ensure the safety of the student and others.
- Bridging the Gap: Acts as a liaison between the lead teacher, parents, and external therapists (e.g., occupational therapists).
- Progress Tracking: Observes and documents the student's daily or weekly progress to adjust goals and strategies.
- IEP Execution: Implements goals outlined in the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP)
