Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Engineering & Design
- Lead steel design and connection design for complex structures used in heavy lift and
transport.
- Perform and validate structural analysis using STAAD and other design tools.
- Review and approve calculation reports, drawings, and method statements.
- Ensure compliance with IS codes, international standards, and safety guidelines. - Job Description:
- Structural design and calculations, mainly steel structures.
- Able to analyse and design structure manually.
- Ability to lead, mentor and manage engineering team.
- Excellent technical communication and client interaction skills
- Preparing structural calculations of new and existing structural arrangement by means
of conventional calculations and FEM.
- Create calculation models by use of applicable software.
- Hands on knowledge of IS:800-2007, Euro code – for steel design.
- Technical support to the rest of the department.
- Checking of manufacturing drawings & equipment drawings.
- Checking of calculation documentation.
- Engineering solutions of clients’ heavy lift & heavy transport and installation
requirements both on site and in the Engineering office.
- Using expertise to develop best-in-class engineering solutions for heavy lifting and
transportation projects.
- Working with both conventional methodologies and developing new approaches for
the heavy lift & heavy transport industry.
- Preparing and selecting both existing and renewed engineering statements.
- Developing calculation reports, general arrangement drawings & fabrication
drawings, 3D-visualizations, method statement, and other key documents.
- Check and approve engineering documents, verify if the right methods and/or
equipment have been used.
- Liaising with internal and external clients to ensure the requirements are met.
- preparing design bases and specifications for new projects and designs.
- Manage the drafting team to visualize your concept or design.
- Develop engineered solutions for lifting beams, tower systems, gantries, strand jacks,
and marine applications.
- Coordinate with fabrication, operations, and site execution teams.
- Feasibility checks of installation methods.
QUALIFICATION:
- A bachelor's degree in a Civil Engineering, Masters in Structural engineering will be
an added advantage.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in steel structure design, connection design,
experience in Heavy lifting and transportation industry will be an added advantage.
- Experience in leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
- Professional level experience in engineering operation practices and systems, HLT
equipment, internal codes, and standards.
- Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in any / some of the following
sectors: Civil Engineering, Construction, Renewables, Oil & Gas, Offshore &
Industrial Structures.
- Willingness to travel as per project requirement (PAN INDIA)
- Ability to check and write technical reports and presentations, as well as presenting
calculations and analysis results.
- Advanced understanding of heavy lift equipment and operations will be an added
advantage.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- To be open and communicative.
- Proficient in STAAD.Pro., AutoCAD, FEM software, and Microsoft Office, with
strong expertise in structural analysis and design tools.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
