Job Summary
The IT Support Executive will provide first-level technical support to employees and assist in day-to-day IT operations. The role includes basic hardware, software and network troubleshooting, IT asset management, application support, PowerPoint presentation creation, basic video editing and coordination with internal teams and vendors.
Key Responsibilities

Provide first-level support for hardware, software, email, login, printer and network-related issues.

Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, projectors, printers, Wi-Fi, LAN and internet connectivity.

Install and configure operating systems, antivirus software, browsers and standard office applications.

Set up laptops, desktops, user accounts and system access for new employees.

Support users with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and virtual meeting platforms.

Support IT asset allocation, transfer, return and physical verification.

Maintain support logs and ensure timely resolution or escalation of reported issues.

Create and format professional PowerPoint presentations, reports and user guides.

Perform basic video editing, including trimming, merging, adding text, subtitles, logos, music and transitions.

Convert and compress video, audio, image and document files into required formats.

Create simple posters, banners and digital content using Canva or similar tools.

Support webinars, online training sessions, presentations and virtual meetings.

Prepare basic IT documentation, process notes and troubleshooting guides.
Required Skills

Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems and networking.

Ability to troubleshoot common desktop, laptop, printer and connectivity issues.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Familiarity with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides.

Basic knowledge of video-editing tools such as Canva, Filmora, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar applications.

Ability to create professional presentations and simple digital communication material.

Basic understanding of antivirus, data backup, cybersecurity and password security.

Good communication, documentation, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and provide timely user support.
Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Applications or a related field.

Relevant IT support or hardware and networking certification will be an added advantage.
Experience

Around two years of experience in IT support, desktop support, helpdesk or a similar role.

Experience in an NGO, educational institution or service-based organisation will be preferred.
