We are Hiring for General Ledger Accounting Specialist (US GAAP)

Skills:
· Work directly in client systems to record transactions accurately and timely, including collaboration on improving the client experience, while adapting to US time zones for real-time interactions.
· Engage in accounting clean up and maintenance, ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards.
· Support client month-end close and reconciliation processes; develop workpapers necessary for GAAP accounting and implement them efficiently.
o Frequently needed by our clients include: prepaid expenses, expense accruals, inventory, deferred revenue, job costing, and percentage of completion accounting
· Partner with Our Clients to address gaps in client reporting, including developing and maintaining relationships with key client personnel through virtual meetings and clear communication.
· Provide ideas for improving quality, timeliness, and usefulness of accounting data, with a focus on US regulatory requirements.
· Support job costing, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis for US-based clients.
· Collaborate with the Our Clients to ensure client's needs are met, bridging cultural and operational differences between India and the US.
· Work with Our Clients to define & document processes and controls tailored to client needs, incorporating team best practices.
· Assist with adoption of new systems, as needed, including training on tools commonly used in US operations.
· Coordinate with global accounting resources, ensuring clear communication, effective delegation of tasks, and seamless integration into existing workflows, while leveraging Hyderabad's talent pool for scalable support.
Key Competencies and Qualifications
· Background in accounting, with a strong understanding of US GAAP, financial statements, and general ledger functions. Bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, or related field preferred; CA, CPA, or equivalent certification (e.g., ACCA) is a plus.
· Strong Excel skills, with proficiency in advanced functions and data analysis.
· Experience with typical US based accounting systems: QuickBooks (Online and Desktop versions), Intacct, NetSuite, Plex, Xero, etc.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment, working on multiple US clients simultaneously while managing time zone differences.
· Process oriented, reliable, consistent, and accurate with a knack for handling remote collaboration tools like Google Meet, Monday.com, etc.
· Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including fluent English proficiency.
· Comfortable with ambiguity and challenges—enjoys tackling "messy" situations in diverse industries.
· Eager to be mentored, with significant opportunities for growth and advancement.
· Enjoys variety, with the ability to adapt to different client systems, industries, and cultural nuances between India and US.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
