ITI Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC) Fitter – Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair refrigerators, air conditioners, deep freezers, water coolers, and cold storage systems.
- Diagnose faults in refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment.
- Check and repair compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, and control systems.
- Handle refrigerants safely and perform gas charging/recovery procedures.
- Inspect electrical wiring, switches, thermostats, and control circuits.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain service records and prepare maintenance reports.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of refrigeration cycles and HVAC systems.
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical components.
- Fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to use testing instruments such as multimeters, manifold gauges, and clamp meters.
- Knowledge of refrigerants and their safe handling.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
Qualification
- ITI in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC) Trade.
- Apprenticeship or field experience is often preferred.
- Previous experience in brewery will be preferred .
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
