Role Overview
Purnkuti NGO seeks a creative Assistant Manager – Communication & Digital Media to manage digital communication, social media, branding, storytelling, crowdfunding, website management, donor communication, and digital campaigns for our women development and child education programs.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to boost reach and engagement
- Manage Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter/X, and WhatsApp
- Plan monthly content calendars and publish posts, reels, videos, stories, blogs
- Monitor performance metrics and respond to audience queries
Creative Design & Branding
- Create creatives, posters, banners, flyers, brochures using Canva
- Maintain branding consistency across all digital and print materials
- Support urgent design requirements
Crowdfunding & Fundraising
- Create campaign creatives for Saathire, CSRBOX, Give.do and similar platforms
- Develop fundraising stories, videos, and impact narratives
- Coordinate donor engagement communication
Website & SEO
- Manage and update the organization’s website
- Upload blogs, project updates, event reports with SEO optimization
- Monitor website traffic and content performance
Storytelling & Documentation
- Collect beneficiary stories from Pune and Bihar teams; publish 2 impact stories/month
- Prepare annual reports, newsletters, brochures, donor materials
- Capture photos/videos at events; create post-event reels and highlights
Donor & Stakeholder Communication
- Share newsletters and updates with donors regularly
- Support donor retention and engagement strategies
Team Coordination
- Coordinate with interns/volunteers for communication tasks
- Conduct social media orientation for staff and interns
Campaigns & Brand Awareness
- Execute awareness campaigns for NGO programs and Label Purnkuti products
- Ensure consistent messaging across all platforms
Admin & Vendor Support
- Maintain digital records and communication archives
- Manage vendors (photographers, designers, printers)
- Support basic IT issues (software/hardware)
- Coordinate across departments for smooth execution
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or Digital Media
Experience: 2–4 years in communication/digital media (NGO experience preferred)
