Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Nesting Engineer to optimize material utilization and prepare CNC cutting programs for PEB fabrication. The ideal candidate should have experience in steel fabrication, nesting software, and CNC cutting processes to ensure maximum productivity and minimum material wastage.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare nesting layouts for steel plates, sheets, and structural sections to maximize material utilization.
- Generate CNC cutting files for Plasma, Laser, Oxy-Fuel, and CNC Drilling machines.
- Study fabrication drawings and production requirements before preparing nesting plans.
- Coordinate with the Design, Production, Planning, and Quality departments for smooth workflow.
- Ensure cutting plans comply with project drawings and customer specifications.
- Monitor material consumption and recommend improvements to reduce scrap.
- Maintain nesting records, cutting reports, and material utilization reports.
- Verify BOM (Bill of Materials) before nesting.
- Resolve shop-floor issues related to nesting and cutting.
- Follow company safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering .
- 2–5 years of experience in PEB/Structural Steel Fabrication.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SigmaNEST, ProNest, FastCAM, Hypertherm ProNest, or equivalent nesting software.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Understanding of fabrication drawings and steel structures.
- Knowledge of CNC Plasma, Laser, Oxy-Fuel, and Drilling machines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent coordination and communication abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and production documentation.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in PEB Manufacturing or Structural Steel Fabrication.
- Familiarity with material planning and production scheduling.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
