What this job involves: In this role the individual should have fare understanding of Indirect Tax and it’s exceptions for South East Asea countries along with core RTR knowledge.
Preparation and timely delivery of accurate monthly indirect tax returns for JLL Leader/Manager and Country Tax Advisor approval across APAC Countries
Ensuring timely delivery of accurate monthly indirect tax returns to Tax Authorities and tax payment confirmations for APAC Countries
Balance Sheet Reconciliation preparation, review and certification
Quarterly balance sheet and P & L Fluctuation Analysis
Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing
Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies
Manage Fixed Assets Accounting
Interact with Country Finance and Controllership Teams
Enforce compliance with Firm's financial, operating policies / procedures and SOX requirements
Liaison with internal/external auditors for quarter / year end auditBuilding and maintaining positive relationships with team members, internal customers and vendors
Minimum 5 - 10 years of overall professional experience with at least 5 years in Record-to-Report (R2R) domain including Indirect Tax, reconciliations, and reporting.
Perform other duties assigned as and when required i.e. process improvement initiatives, system implementation and ad-hoc projects To apply you need to have: Degree in Accounting or relevant professional accountancy qualification.
Preferably more than 5 years of working experience in Indirect Tax/GL/AP & AR in a reputed organization MNC
Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Team player and yet able to work independently
Experience with US GAAP a plus
PeopleSoft or Large-Scale ERP financial systems experience a plus.
Performance objectives: Fulfil agreed SLAs with Onshore Controllership and Finance teams
Improved internal procedures and compliance with policies
Key skills: Strong Excel skills
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of management
