Role:
We are looking for a sales leader who will be responsible for hunting and growing new accounts for Magic EdTech in India. The primary responsibilities will include:
- Hands on sales growth responsibility in APAC, ME, and Africa.
- Be able to articulate technology solutions, proposal making, and contract negotiations for outsourcing services.
- Create a value-based relationship with new and existing Magic customers.
- Drive up-sell and cross-sell by prioritizing accounts with the highest propensity to buy by clearly defining the ideal customer profile and driving business development initiatives with them.
- Lead key account strategy and planning.
- Managing the opportunity pipeline week on week, providing accurate and timely updates to management on progress and outlook.
- Collaborate with solution specialists to maximize the footprint of growing Magic products and services.
- Engage as required with the supporting functional teams to resolve issues raised by customers related to their respective projects.
- Ability to successfully connect and interface with CXOs.
- Work with the marketing office to plan customer events and branding strategies.
Qualifications:
- MBA Graduate in sales and marketing from a premium institute.
- Exposure to the APAC market with a ready rolodex in the EdTech and Publishing industries.
- Overall work experience of 15+ years in B2B IT Sales.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and high-performing environment.
- Flair for Technology and ability to lead a customer conversation with value-selling rather than product features pitch.
- Understanding of SaaS businesses is preferred.
- Familiarity with Hubspot CRM is preferred.
