Job Title: Group Manager - PPC
Location: Chennai Office
Reports to (Position): Head
Department/Function: PPC
Purpose of the Job: Responsible for ensuring the adherence of Production plan made to meet the customer demand on time.
Major Responsibilities:
1. To monitor, coordinate and communicate the daily Production Plan with Plant.
2. Digitalization of Process.
3. Use appropriate inventory management models to reduce material loss.
4. Initiation & Guiding Team in completion of QC story projects.
5. Training on Apollo new tools.
6. Inventory tracking as per norms.
7. Participate in incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements (Abilities / Knowledge & Expertise in field)
Knowledge (Technical / Functional)
- Knowledge on Production Planning and Scheduling.
- Knowledge on Inventory Management.
- Knowledge on Pull Production Systems and Optimization techniques.
- Knowledge on SAP – PP module and PIBS.
- Awareness on OHS & POSH Act.

Relevant Experience: 15 – 18 years’ experience in PPC functions in Engineering / Process industry. Preferably in
Tyre industry.
Education Qualification(s): Graduate in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
