MAIN TASK:
- Import & export of shipments for chemicals and instruments/ equipment’s
- Preparation of shipment documents such as invoice, packaging list, SDS, CoA etc.
- Define logistics means in line with guidelines for e.g., IATA, IMDG
- Coordinating with import/export team for HS codes and clearing agents for customs for seamless operations
- Intimating consignee/forwarders regarding shipments import/exports
- Continuously monitoring shipments from point of receipts through to delivery
- Keeping records of all import/export shipments
- Keeping records of TSE/BSE certificates for chemicals shipment to USA
- Staying in continuous contact with APR/HP team for implementing shipment SoP’s as per requirement of APR unit & implement changes as & when defined
- PR creations for chemicals, consumables , instruments, equipment, AMC, capex items
- Ensuring compliance with EHS, Product Safety & Regulations, dual use technology, transport management. Act as a transportation & distribution safety authorized responsible person
- Understanding & implementing ERP and supply chain system management
Maintaining agreements for logistics activities e.g., export, import, local shipments etc. a. Supporting internal/external audits related to logistics
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s degree, preferably in commerce, with 5 to 10 years’ experience in logistics preferably in RnD sample shipment across globe
- Should be fluent in communication
