We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Estimator for Solar MGV Projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, analyzing technical requirements, preparing BOQs, and supporting project planning and tender submissions for solar power projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review solar project drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and project budgets for Solar MGV projects.
- Estimate costs for solar panels, inverters, structures, cables, transformers, installation, and commissioning.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project execution teams.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Prepare tender and bid documents for solar projects.
- Analyze project risks, material costs, labor costs, and timelines.
- Monitor estimated vs actual project costs.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of solar project estimation and costing.
- Understanding of Solar PV systems, MGV projects, electrical systems, and installation processes.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation, tendering, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- Experience in Solar EPC or renewable energy projects preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in rooftop or ground-mounted solar projects.
- Knowledge of vendor management and procurement processes.
- Familiarity with project management tools and ERP systems.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
