Position Title: CNC OPERATOR( Plasma Cutting & Oxy-Fuel Cutting)
Job Summary:
The Plasma Cutting and Oxy-Fuel Cutting Operator is responsible for operating CNC machines to cut metal plates and structural components according to provided nesting plans. The operator ensures accurate cutting, material utilization, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC Plasma Cutting and Oxy-Fuel Cutting machines.
- Read and interpret cutting plans, and work orders.
- Set up cutting parameters such as speed, gas pressure, torch height, and cutting paths.
- Monitor cutting operations and make adjustments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Inspect cut parts for quality, edge finish, and compliance with specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of cutting equipment.
- Replace consumables such as nozzles, electrodes, tips, and cutting torches when required.
- Maintain production records and material consumption reports.
- Follow safety procedures related to compressed gases, fire prevention, and material handling.
Qualifications:
- ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification in Fabrication, or related field
- Experience operating Plasma and Oxy-Fuel Cutting machines preferred.
- Knowledge of CNC cutting systems and nesting software is an advantage.
Required Skills:
- CNC Plasma and Oxy-Fuel cutting machine operation.
- Understanding of cutting parameters and gas systems.
- Material handling and plate layout planning.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
