Qualifications & Experience: B. Tech/ BE/ Diploma Electronics, ECE or related discipline with 1-2 years of relevant experience in hardware design or R&D support.

Role & responsibilities
This role focuses on supporting the design, development, and validation of analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronic circuits. The ideal candidate will assist in PCB design, prototyping, testing, and documentation, playing a critical role in ensuring quality and reliability of hardware products throughout the development cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Circuit Design Support
· Assist in the design and development of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
· Aid in the selection of suitable components including MCUs, sensors, power ICs, and interface modules.
PCB Design
· Support schematic capture and PCB layout using CAD tools such as Altium Designer.
· Ensure considerations for signal integrity, EMI/EMC compliance, and thermal management.
Prototyping & Testing
· Assemble and test hardware prototypes.
· Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters for validation and troubleshooting.
Debugging & Troubleshooting
· Assist in diagnosing hardware issues and support the implementation of design corrections.
· Collaborate with firmware and system engineers to resolve integration issues.
Documentation
· Help prepare and maintain technical documentation including schematics, BoMs, test procedures, and layout files.
· Maintain revision history and version control for hardware files.
Compliance & Certification
· Support compliance testing and documentation for regulatory approvals (FCC, CE, RoHS, etc.).
· Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during certification processes.
Collaboration
· Work closely with cross-functional teams including firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and QA.
· Liaise with suppliers and vendors for component sourcing and DFM feedback.
Typical Tools & Skills:
CAD Tools: Altium Designer (Preferred), KiCad, Eagle, OrCAD
Simulation Tools: Multisim, PSpice
Test Equipment: Oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer
Key Skills:
- Basic to intermediate circuit design and analysis
- Understanding of signal integrity and power electronics
- Knowledge of embedded systems fundamentals
- Exposure to RF design and debugging
- Hands-on experience with PCB design tools and test instruments.
- Good problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities.
Preferred:
- Experience in a product development or R&D environment.
- Familiarity with embedded firmware or software-hardware co-debugging.
