About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accounts Executive to join our Accounts & Finance team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting, statutory compliance, GST, TDS, banking, and documentation. The role requires proficiency in Tally Prime and a strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally Prime.
- Record Sales, Purchase, Receipt, Payment, Journal, and Contra vouchers.
- Maintain Cash Book and Petty Cash records.
- Prepare and maintain Bills Receivable and Bills Payable statements.
- Perform ledger reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Assist in Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss finalization.
- Prepare E-Invoices, Credit Notes, and E-Way Bills.
- Verify and process site/project expenses with supporting documents.
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountant for Balance Sheet finalization and resolve accounting queries.
2. Banking & Cash Management
- Post monthly bank entries in Tally Prime.
- Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Coordinate with banks for routine banking activities.
- Assist in Bank Guarantee (BG), Overdraft (OD), account renewals, and banking documentation.
- Monitor fund availability to ensure timely payments.
3. GST & Tax Compliance
- Prepare monthly GST workings and reconciliations.
- Assist in filing GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns.
- Support GST assessments, notices, and reconciliations.
- Assist in TDS calculations, deductions, and quarterly return preparation.
- Maintain statutory records, challans, and tax documentation.
4. Statutory Compliance
- Assist in compliance related to GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax (PT), MLWF, and other statutory requirements.
- Ensure timely statutory payments and documentation.
- Support labour compliance documentation and client portal uploads where applicable.
5. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly Accounts and Compliance Status Reports.
- Monitor receivables and payables.
- Maintain project costing records and MIS reports.
6. Insurance & Documentation
- Maintain company insurance records, renewals, and claim documentation.
- Organize financial, statutory, legal, and audit-related records.
- Support internal and statutory audits by providing necessary documentation.
7. Administration & HR Support
- Assist with employee onboarding documentation.
- Maintain company agreements, licenses, and statutory records.
- Coordinate with HR and other departments for documentation and compliance activities.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and reconciliation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Engineering, EPC, Construction, Manufacturing, or Fire Protection industry will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to project accounting and cost tracking is preferred.
