We are seeking a Diploma Holder in Chemical Engineering to operate, monitor, and maintain the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). The candidate will ensure smooth plant operations, compliance with environmental regulations, and efficient treatment of wastewater during extended shift operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor ETP and STP systems during assigned shifts.
- Monitor process parameters, chemical dosing, flow rates, pH, and equipment performance.
- Conduct routine inspections of pumps, blowers, motors, valves, filters, and other treatment equipment.
- Collect water samples and perform basic laboratory tests as per operating procedures.
- Maintain operational logs, shift reports, and treatment records.
- Ensure treated water quality meets statutory and company standards.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or process deviations promptly.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Handle treatment chemicals safely and maintain proper chemical inventory.
- Follow environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines and statutory compliance requirements.
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of the ETP/STP area.
- Support audits, inspections, and environmental documentation as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering (Mandatory).
- 1–3 years of experience in ETP/STP operations is preferred. Freshers with relevant industrial training may also be considered.
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and chemical handling.
- Basic understanding of laboratory testing and environmental compliance
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
