KIDZEE Preschool, Tuticorin is looking for a warm, enthusiastic and responsible Preschool / Kindergarten Teacher who enjoys working with young children and is passionate about early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct engaging daily classroom activities based on the prescribed curriculum.
- Use stories, rhymes, songs, art, games, activities and outdoor learning to make learning enjoyable.
- Create a safe, positive and nurturing classroom environment.
- Observe and assess children's learning and developmental progress.
- Encourage communication, confidence, creativity, cooperation and good social behaviour.
- Maintain classroom records, learning materials and a well-organized classroom.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding children's progress and participate in PTMs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, coordinators and school management.
- Follow school policies, curriculum guidelines, safety and child-care standards.
- Participate in school celebrations, activities and events.
What We Are Looking For:
- Graduate degree; Montessori / Early Childhood Education certification is an advantage.
- Previous experience as a Preschool Teacher, Kindergarten Teacher, Montessori Teacher, Teacher Assistant or Early Years Educator is preferred.
- Good understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
- Strong communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Creative, patient, caring and positive approach towards children.
- Good classroom management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Hindi teaching ability will be an added advantage.
