Cyber Security Instructor / Trainer
Job Summary
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Cyber Security Instructor to train students in cybersecurity concepts, ethical hacking, network security, and information security. The candidate should have strong practical knowledge and the ability to deliver hands-on training.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver theoretical and practical training in Cyber Security.
- Teach students about network security, ethical hacking, web security, system security, and information security.
- Conduct hands-on practical sessions, labs, assignments, and projects.
- Train students in cybersecurity tools and technologies.
- Explain concepts such as Linux, Networking, Firewalls, Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, and Incident Response.
- Guide students in identifying and understanding common cyber threats and attacks.
- Prepare course material, presentations, practical exercises, and assessments.
- Monitor student performance and provide regular feedback.
- Conduct mock tests, interviews, and doubt-clearing sessions.
- Keep course content updated according to the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
- Guide students in completing real-time projects and building practical skills.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking.
- Knowledge of Networking, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, Firewalls, and VPNs.
- Good understanding of Linux and Windows Security.
- Knowledge of Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, Metasploit, and Kali Linux.
- Knowledge of Web Application Security and OWASP concepts.
- Understanding of malware, phishing, ransomware, and other cyber threats.
- Good communication, presentation, and teaching skills.
- Ability to provide practical and hands-on training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent certifications will be preferred.
- Previous teaching or training experience will be an added advantage.
Experience
1–3 years of relevant experience in Cyber Security, Ethical Hacking, Information Security, or Cyber Security Training is preferred.
