Job Title: Electrical Draftsman
Experience:
Minimum of two years of experience working as an Electrical Draftsman in AutoCAD/Eplan or in a similar role.
Job Overview:
As an Electrical Draftsman, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of electrical wiring diagrams, Panel General Arrangement Drawings, System SLDs, etc for various projects. Working closely with engineers, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans that adhere to industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting Electrical Plans: Create detailed electrical plans, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts for LT, MCC, PCC, PLC, APFC, VFD and other control panels, using computer based design software such as E-plan/AutoCAD.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, and other team members to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes as needed.
Compliance: Ensure that all electrical drawings and plans comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, such as the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of design changes, revisions, and project milestones. Prepare and organize technical documents, drawings, and specifications for review and approval.
Communication: Effectively communicate with project Engineers to convey design concepts, address concerns, and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on advancements in electrical drafting technologies, techniques, and best practices. Seek opportunities for professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in electrical drafting software such as AutoCAD.
EPLAN software experience will be an added advantage.
Understanding electrical principles, circuits, and systems will be an added advantage.
Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical drawings and plans.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
Working Conditions:
Office environment with regular hours, although occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
May need to visit sites to gather information or verify design specifications.
Salary Range:
12-25k in per month
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
