About Nipponasia
Nipponasia is a Kerala-based company specializing in premium travel experiences to Japan. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an energetic and ambitious professional to strengthen our sales and business development efforts.
This is a field-oriented growth role for someone who enjoys meeting people, building partnerships, creating new business opportunities, and driving sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through direct sales and business development activities.
- Own the complete sales cycle from enquiry to successful closure.
- Manage and convert enquiries generated through the company's marketing initiatives.
- Independently generate additional enquiries through networking, referrals, partnerships, events, and direct outreach.
- Develop and strengthen offline sales channels.
- Meet prospective customers, corporates, schools, associations, clubs, travel partners, and other organizations to generate new Japan travel business opportunities.
- Identify, onboard, and expand our Independent Travel Advisor (ITA) network.
- Build strategic partnerships that generate long-term business.
- Conduct presentations, business meetings, webinars, and networking sessions whenever required.
- Represent Nipponasia professionally at exhibitions, networking events, seminars, and industry forums.
- Work closely with the backend team to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently achieve business targets.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who:
- Has 3 to 5 years of experience in sales and business development.
- Has a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Is confident, persuasive, and enjoys meeting new people.
- Has a hunter mindset with a passion for creating new business opportunities rather than waiting for leads.
- Has excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Is highly organized with strong follow-up discipline.
- Is tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM systems, AI tools, and digital platforms to improve sales and business development.
- Is willing to travel locally and internationally, as required, for business development activities.
- Holds a valid driving licence. Candidates with their own car will be preferred.
- Holds a valid passport and has prior overseas travel experience.
- Experience in the travel industry is preferred. However, candidates from other industries with a strong sales and business development background are also encouraged to apply.

- You expand our Independent Travel Advisor (ITA) network.
