Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Fitter Mechanic for Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) operations and maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for maintenance, repair, fitting, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment used in the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair pumps, blowers, gearboxes, pipelines, valves, and mechanical equipment
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
- Inspect plant machinery and ensure smooth mechanical operations
- Assist in installation and alignment of mechanical equipment
- Maintain maintenance records and daily work reports
- Follow safety procedures and maintenance standards
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of industrial mechanical systems and maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical faults independently
- Familiarity with pumps, motors, piping systems, and rotating equipment
- Basic reporting and documentation skills
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance of STP/ETP/industrial plants
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency maintenance activities
- Good teamwork and communication skills
