JOB SUMMARY
Anil Engineering Works is seeking a dedicated and experienced Execution Engineer (Mechanical) to oversee and execute CW (Circulating Water) piping works at JSW Mahanadi Power Plant, Akaltara. The candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating site activities related to pipe erection, welding, testing, coating, wrapping, and commissioning works while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise day-to-day execution of CW piping works at the site.
- Plan and monitor pipe erection, alignment, fit-up, and installation activities.
- Coordinate welding activities as per approved WPS and quality requirements.
- Monitor blasting, painting, coal tar epoxy coating, wrapping coating, and holiday testing activities.
- Coordinate excavation, trenching, dewatering, pipe laying, and backfilling activities.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
- Coordinate with the site in charge, QA/QC engineer, safety officer, and client representatives.
- Prepare daily progress reports, manpower reports, and equipment utilization reports.
- Ensure availability of materials, consumables, tools and equipment at work fronts.
- Coordinate NDT activities and closure of quality observations.
- Monitor productivity and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Attend site meetings with JSW representatives and implement action points.
- Ensure compliance with JSW safety standards and permit requirements.
- Support hydrotesting, flushing, commissioning and final handover activities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in piping, fabrication, erection, power plant, steel plant or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of piping drawings, isometric drawings and construction practices.
- Understanding of welding procedures, NDT requirements and quality documentation.
- Knowledge of blasting, painting, wrapping coating and hydrotesting activities.
- Ability to manage manpower, subcontractors and site resources.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- 5–8 years of experience in piping erection and execution.
- Experience in thermal power plant, cooling water piping, refinery, steel plant or EPC projects will be preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
