Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Landscape Supervisor to manage and maintain the resort's gardens, lawns, plants, trees, pathways, and overall outdoor landscape. The candidate will supervise landscaping staff, ensure proper plant care, maintain the aesthetic appearance of the resort, and coordinate daily horticulture activities.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage daily landscaping and gardening activities across the resort.
Plan and monitor lawn mowing, trimming, pruning, watering, planting, weeding, and fertilizing.
Ensure all gardens, lawns, flower beds, trees, and landscaped areas are maintained in excellent condition.
Identify plant diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies and take appropriate corrective action.
Supervise gardeners and landscaping workers and allocate daily duties.
Maintain proper irrigation and watering schedules for different plants and lawn areas.
Monitor and maintain irrigation systems, sprinklers, pipelines, pumps, and related equipment.
Coordinate seasonal plantation, flowering plants, tree maintenance, and landscaping improvements.
Ensure pathways, garden areas, outdoor seating areas, and resort surroundings remain clean and attractive.
Maintain an inventory of plants, fertilizers, pesticides, gardening tools, and other landscaping materials.
Ensure safe and proper use of fertilizers, pesticides, machinery, and gardening equipment.
Coordinate with the maintenance team for landscaping-related electrical, plumbing, irrigation, and equipment issues.
Maintain records of daily landscaping activities, manpower, materials, and maintenance requirements.
Monitor the performance and attendance of landscaping staff.
Ensure compliance with resort safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
Suggest improvements to enhance the overall visual appeal of the resort's landscape.
Respond promptly to urgent landscaping and maintenance requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
ITI / Diploma / Certificate in Horticulture, Landscaping, Agriculture, or a related field preferred.
2–5 years of experience in landscaping, gardening, horticulture, preferably in a hotel, resort, club, or large property.
Good knowledge of plants, trees, lawns, fertilizers, pesticides, pruning, and irrigation.
Previous experience supervising a team of gardeners or landscaping workers.
Basic knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening machinery, and landscaping equipment.
Good observation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and according to resort operational requirements.
