Job Summary We are looking for a reliable, quick-thinking, and responsible Ambulance Driver to join our healthcare team. The primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently transport patients to and from medical facilities during emergencies and routine transfers. You will work closely with paramedics and medical staff to ensure patient safety and timely care. Key Responsibilities Safe Transportation: Drive the ambulance safely, adhering to all traffic laws and speed limits, especially during medical emergencies. Navigation: Choose the fastest and safest routes to reach destinations quickly using GPS and local road knowledge. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily checks on the ambulance (fuel, oil, brakes, tires, and lights) to ensure it is always in excellent working condition. Patient Assistance: Help medical staff lift, move, and load patients onto stretchers and into the ambulance securely. Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and sanitized environment inside the ambulance after every trip. Communication: Coordinate effectively with dispatchers, hospital staff, and emergency team members. Requirements & Qualifications Driving License: Must possess a valid Commercial Driving License (CDL) or heavy/light motor vehicle license (as per local regulations). Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as an ambulance driver or professional commercial driver. Clean Record: A clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations or accidents. Certifications: First Aid/CPR certification is highly preferred. Skills: Strong communication skills, physical fitness (ability to lift weight), and the ability to stay calm and focused under high-pressure situations.
