About the Company
Reliable Global Exim Pvt. Ltd. is a leading logistics service provider specializing in Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance (CHA), Air Freight, Sea Freight, Transportation, and End-to-End Import-Export Solutions.
We primarily work with clients from the Chemical Industry and have extensive experience handling non-perishable cargo. We also provide Freight Forwarding services for perishable cargo on a 100% advance payment basis. However, Customs Clearance services are not offered for perishable shipments.
Position: Business Development Manager (BDM)
We are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented, and target-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to generate new business opportunities and build strong relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers, and traders, particularly within the Chemical Industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new clients for Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearance (CHA) services.
- Generate new business through cold calling, LinkedIn, references, industry databases, networking, and client visits.
- Promote Sea Freight, Air Freight, Customs Clearance, Transportation, and end-to-end Logistics solutions.
- Meet with chemical manufacturers, importers, exporters, and trading companies to understand their logistics requirements.
- Prepare quotations, pricing proposals, and service presentations.
- Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and new clients.
- Coordinate with the Operations and Documentation teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to business growth.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements within the logistics and chemical industries.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 2–7 years of experience in Business Development, Freight Forwarding, CHA, Logistics, Shipping Line, NVOCC, or Supply Chain Sales.
- Experience in handling clients from the Chemical Industry will be preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of Import-Export procedures, Sea Freight, Air Freight, Freight Forwarding, and Customs Clearance.
- Ability to generate business independently and manage key client relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office and professional email communication.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Existing network of Chemical Manufacturers, Importers, Exporters, or Traders.
- Proven experience in B2B Sales within Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Customs Clearance.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of achieving business goals.
- Knowledge of international trade, supply chain operations, and logistics management will be an added advantage.
