Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improving productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flow charts.
- Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard cycle times and improve labor productivity.
- Optimize machine utilization, manpower allocation, and production capacity.
- Balance production lines to achieve maximum efficiency and minimize bottlenecks.
- Prepare and monitor production capacity plans based on customer demand and available resources.
- Coordinate with Production, PPC, Design, Quality, Purchase, and Stores departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Improve manufacturing processes for sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly, and powder coating operations.
- Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and recommend corrective actions to improve equipment performance.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Prepare process documentation, work instructions, production layouts, and line balancing reports.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, efficiency, rejection rate, downtime, and material utilization.
- Support new product development (NPD) by evaluating manufacturing feasibility and optimizing production processes.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in Industrial Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly, and production processes.
- Experience in process optimization, capacity planning, and productivity improvement.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and AutoCAD (preferred).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
