The Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising day-to-day activities at the project site, ensuring that labour and contractors are working properly, work is progressing as planned, and construction materials received and available at the site are properly checked and accounted for.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor labour contractors and workers at the project site.
- Ensure that workers are present, properly assigned, and carrying out their work efficiently.
- Monitor the quality, progress, and timely completion of daily site work.
- Coordinate with labour contractors regarding manpower requirements and daily work targets.
- Check the material received at the site against delivery challans, invoices, or other relevant documents.
- Maintain proper records of materials received, issued, and used at the site to avoid any shortage, mismatch, or discrepancy in quantity.
- Regularly check the materials available at the site and report any shortage, damage, or mismatch immediately.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials to prevent wastage or damage.
- Report daily work progress, labour attendance, material receipt, and any site-related issues to the reporting manager.
- Coordinate with the office/project management team regarding labour, material, and site requirements.
- Ensure that site activities are carried out safely and in accordance with the instructions of the management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in real estate/construction will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of construction site activities and materials.
- Good supervision and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage labour and labour contractors effectively.
- Ability to maintain basic records of labour and materials.
- Responsible, punctual, and willing to work at the project site.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
Reporting
Site Supervisor will report to the General Manager / Project Manager as assigned by the management.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
