Position-Manufacturing Operations Manager – Complex Excipients & Bulk Drug Division
Location: Mahape, Navi Mumbai
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead production and wet lab operations for our Complex Excipients and Bulk Drug Division. The role will focus on manufacturing excellence, process optimization, scale-up, quality compliance, and efficient plant operations while ensuring consistent product quality and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day manufacturing and wet lab operations for complex excipients and bulk drug products.
- Manage process development, batch execution, scale-up, validation, and technology transfer activities.
- Drive productivity improvements, yield enhancement, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, EHS, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with R&D, QA, QC, Supply Chain, and Business Development teams.
- Lead investigations related to deviations, CAPA, OOS, and process troubleshooting.
- Monitor production planning, resource utilization, inventory, and plant performance.
- Build and mentor high-performing manufacturing and laboratory teams.
Candidate Profile
- B.Tech/M.Tech (Chemical Engineering), M.Sc. Chemistry, M.Pharm, B.Pharm, or related discipline.
- 3–7 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, excipients, APIs, bulk drugs, or specialty chemicals.
- Strong experience in wet lab operations, process scale-up, technology transfer, and production management.
- Proven leadership experience in managing manufacturing teams and plant operations.
- Preferably from Complex Excipients | Pharmaceutical Excipients | APIs/Bulk Drugs | Specialty Chemicals
A hands-on manufacturing leader with strong experience in wet lab operations, process scale-up, and pharmaceutical manufacturing, capable of driving operational excellence and commercialization of complex excipient and bulk drug products.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹1,268,966.49 per month
