Job Overview
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Store Incharge to manage our day-to-day warehouse and inventory operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing material receipt, systematic storage, dispatch tracking, and maintaining precise stock records. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of inventory management workflows, and proficiency in digital stock-tracking tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Oversee all inward and outward material movements, ensuring accurate log entries without errors.
- Stock Verification: Perform regular physical stock counts, reconcile data against system books, and resolve discrepancies.
- Documentation Control: Maintain accurate records of Purchase Orders (POs), Delivery Challans (DCs), invoices, and gate passes.
- Storage & Safety: Ensure proper layout, labeling, material safety, and high standards of cleanliness (5S principles) in the storage area.
- Team Supervision: Guide and assign daily duties to helpers, packers, or junior store assistants.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Liaise with the accounts, purchasing, and project execution teams to minimize stockouts.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Graduate degree in any discipline (B.Com / B.Sc / B.A) or a Diploma in Material Management / Logistics.
- Experience: [2 to 3] years of proven experience as a Store Incharge, Store Keeper, or Warehouse Supervisor.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on proficiency with MS Excel, Google Sheets, or standard ERP inventory systems [e.g., Tally].
- Core Competencies: Strong organizational habits, eye for numerical accuracy, and excellent communication skills.
- Industry Preference: Prior experience working in the [Solar/Construction & Manufacturing].
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
