Job Title: Senior Playwright Automation QA Engineer
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright automation and solid functional testing experience. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality product delivery through effective test planning, execution, and automation while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
FUNCTIONAL TESTER:

Works with Product Owners and BAs to understand requirements (functional and non-functional)

Creates and maintains test plan/suite of test cases (including expected and actual results), using QA test methodologies and standards.

Executes test cases; defines the steps to reproduce the issue; categorizes the defect by severity; works with the product team to determine root-cause; verifies the fix.

Automates test cases to achieve higher efficiency without sacrificing quality.

Creates test cases and plans for integration and user acceptance testing.

Automates test cases to achieve higher efficiency without sacrificing quality.

Summarizes test results for the Product Owner (QA reporting)

Participates and champions all agile/scrum ceremonies (or adherence to Kanban principles)

Monitors sprint burndown charts to know when to ramp up/down the team to drive quality and velocity over time
AUTOMATION TESTER:

Participates in automating test cases to achieve higher efficiency without sacrificing quality.

Creates test cases for integration and user acceptance testing.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

3-6 years’ experience tester on web-based products (including UI, DB, and APIs).

Understanding of Quality Assurance processes for software application testing.

Knowledge of designated testing tool suite such as Quality Center / Azure DevOps / Jira.

Knowledge in SQL queries.

Experience in working with REST APIs, understanding of Soap APIs.

Experience in API Testing and its automation tools like Postman.

Understanding of Swagger API Platform.

Understanding of HTML/CSS/JS or JQuery.
-
Knowledge of bug life cycle, SDLC, Agile/Scrum/Kanban.

Experience with version control systems GIT, VSTS / Azure DevOps.
-
Working knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner (JMeter preferred).
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree (preference given to Business or Technology or Accounting major).
Quality Assurance certification from an accredited program.
