Job Description
Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for acquiring new business by contacting leads, through cold calling/emailing, trade show scouting and exhibiting. Increasing sales with current customers and maintaining a good relationship with all customers. He/she serving as a negotiator with key accounts. Forecasting, budgeting, attaining sales budget goals.

Build an inside sales organization (upto 5 people)

Drive key performance metrics, including, outbound calls, client demonstrations, and conversion rates.

Train and lead team in all aspects of the sales cycle from initial outreach through to contract negotiations.

Create sales opportunities by diligently prospecting into target accounts and effectively following up marketing generated leads.

Maintain knowledge of market conditions and competitive activities.

Generate accurate forecasts to properly project quarterly and yearly team sales.

Manage outbound lead generation campaigns tied to portfolio offerings and partner programs

Take ownership of the inbound qualification process and become an expert on our product offerings portfolio

Manage the opportunity development process, including researching leads and setting up first meetings

E-mail prospects e-brochures and additional information as follow-up to your calls

Compose e-mail responses to prospects

Prepare and e-mail reference lists for specific areas or industries as requested by prospects

Update outdated information for leads and prospects resulting from employee turnover, address changes, business acquisitions, etc.

Enter lead information into CRM system for new prospects from website, trade shows, vendor referrals, marketing campaigns and other lead sources

Ensure that activities are documented in the CRM (Salesforce) properly, opportunities are forecasted accurately and adequate information regarding the team’s prospects and/or opportunities are communicated.

Report back daily activity into our CRM system

Meet and exceed revenue and monthly quota objectives

Generate 3 - 5 sales quotes per week; Build and manage sales pipeline, including generating and qualifying sales opportunities;

Develop a sales pipeline through online sources, customer contacts, social networks;

Cold calls (60 - 80 per day);
-
Provide timely response to product inquiries and demonstration requests;
Qualifications

Preferably 1-2 years of prior inside sales with examples of proven results
-
Excellent oral and communication skills.

Aggressive, Competitive and Self-Motivating Attitude.

Must have an outgoing and friendly personality, and able to adapt to all situations in a professional manner.

Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Must have a passion to close the deal with a desire and willingness to learn.

Ability to cold call and generate new business

Outgoing personality with no call reluctance.

Exposure to using CRM programs, particularly Salesforce, preferred

Must be able to meet and exceed sales goals given daily, weekly, and monthly

Ability to "think on your feet" to drive sales goals

Knowledge of SaaS sales a big plus
