Summary
Hands-on, customer-embedded builder who ships the Workday Analytics, and production operability across Workday HCM/FINS. Cross functional leader who architects, governs, and scales analytics on Workday—spanning Prism Analytics, Accounting Center, Worksheets/Discovery Boards, and advanced reporting
What you'll do
Build and ship Workday Analytics end-to-end ensuring scalability, performance, and auditability.
Own the end to end analytics architecture on Workday (Prism datasets, pipelines, lineage, security maps Accounting Center posting logic reporting models)
Define standards for schema design, ingestion patterns, transformations, and governance across HR/Finance datasets, champion a single source of truth and governed access
Architect Prism/Accounting Center pipelines that ingest external/subledger data at scale, enforce dimensional integrity (FDM), and produce traceable journals and analytics for close, controllership.
Create Workday dashboards that make performance, adoption, and business outcomes visible.
Prerequisite — Agentic AI & GenAI
Designing agentic AI and GenAI enabled use cases that automate insights, improve decision quality, and operationalize trustworthy AI across HR and Finance.
Align analytics roadmaps with business objectives and Workday s AI/agentic direction, ensuring investments track to measurable outcomes
Use Workday s GenAI capabilities to accelerate content generation (e.g., commentary in reports, policy/knowledge summaries, job/plan narratives)
Own the end-to-end lifecycle: design build deploy operate optimize.
What you'll bring
Worked on AI projects and delivered outcomes
13+ years in Workday Analytics delivery with strong hands-on Prism Analytics, Accounting Center and Reporting experience.
Demonstrated experience implementing agentic AI/GenAI use cases for reporting, reconciliation, anomaly detection, or narrative generation with responsible AI practices.
Strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and ELT inside Workday Prism (datasets, transformations, dependency graphs, versioning).
Clear communication with stakeholders comfortable owning workstreams.
