JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Executive to manage shipment coordination, documentation, customer communication, and logistics operations. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of import-export procedures, freight forwarding, and supply chain processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate import and export shipments from booking to final delivery.
- Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, CHA, warehouses, and overseas agents.
- Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to customers.
- Verify shipping documents such as Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, Shipping Bill, and Certificate of Origin.
- Follow up for customs clearance and ensure timely movement of cargo.
- Maintain shipment records and operational reports.
- Coordinate with sales and business development teams for smooth execution.
- Resolve operational issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Track logistics costs and support process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of Freight Forwarding and Logistics Operations
- Knowledge of making freight quotations and follow up clients on call.
- Understanding of Import & Export Documentation
- Good Communication and Coordination Skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and Google Sheets
- Problem-Solving and Time Management Skills
- Ability to work under deadlines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma preferred ( Freshers may apply).
- Experience in Freight Forwarding, CHA, Shipping, or Logistics Industry preferred
- Knowledge of ICEGATE, DGFT, Shipping Lines, and Customs Procedures will be an advantage
