About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented, and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to drive admissions, build strong community relationships, and expand our preschool's presence. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills in Kannada and English, a passion for education, and the ability to achieve admission and business growth targets.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
1. Community Outreach & Marketing
- Plan and execute local marketing activities and promotional campaigns.
- Build partnerships with apartments, residential communities, hospitals, pediatric clinics, corporates, and local businesses.
- Represent the preschool at events, exhibitions, and community programmes.
- Generate leads through networking and local engagement.
2. Lead Management
- Handle enquiries from phone calls, walk-ins, websites, social media, and referrals.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM or admission management systems.
- Ensure prompt follow-up until successful conversion.
3. Brand Promotion
- Increase the preschool's visibility through local initiatives.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for campaigns and promotional activities.
- Collect and leverage parent testimonials and referrals.
6. Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with parents and community stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of parent satisfaction throughout the admission process.
- Encourage referrals from existing parents.
5. Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and admission reports.
- Track enquiry sources, conversion ratios, and marketing effectiveness.
- Provide recommendations for improving admissions and outreach.
6. Strategic Partnerships & Tie-ups
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with hospitals, maternity clinics, pediatricians, schools, daycare centres, corporate organizations, residential communities, and local businesses to generate quality admission leads.
- Organize joint events, parenting workshops, awareness programmes, employee engagement sessions, and promotional activities with partner organizations.
- Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders and ensure regular follow-ups to maximize referrals and admissions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in business development, admissions, sales, or educational marketing.
- Fluency in Kannada and English is mandatory.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and counselling abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel locally for outreach activities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in preschool, school, education, or service industry admissions.
- Strong local network and community connections.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
