Your mission
About the Role: At Puma, we move fast and so does our finance function. As a Finance Industrial Trainee, you will embed yourself in the business finance team supporting one of the world's most recognised sports lifestyle brands. You will get real exposure to the numbers that drive product, retail, and brand decisions across India and beyond.
Duration: 12 Months
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the India business.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis tracking performance across product categories and online channels.
Assist in preparation of management reports and presentations for senior leadership.
Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance frameworks, and Puma's global finance standards.
Support monthly management review presentations and business performance reporting.
Conduct cost, revenue, and trend analysis for strategic decision‑making.
Prepare schedules and documentation for statutory and internal audits.
Purchases and COGS, accounting and MIS preparation - review and analysis
Overall analysis of COGS movement of the Company
Develop automated dashboards using Excel/Power BI for leadership.
Ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across all reports.
Collaborate with teams to gather inputs, validate data, and improve reporting quality.
Support process standardization, automation, and efficiency improvements.
Contribute to special finance projects as assigned by leadership.

Who You Are
Pursuing CA (ICAI) with eligibility to undergo industrial training as per institute guidelines.
Strong academic record and solid conceptual understanding of accounting & finance principles.
Proficient in MS Excel; working knowledge of SAP ERP is a definite advantage.
Sharp analytical mind with clear, confident communication skills.
Self-driven and comfortable keeping pace in a fast-moving brand environment.
Comfortable working both independently and in cross-functional teams.
