Associate – FP&A will support the FP&A function in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, variance analysis and financial performance reviews. The role will be responsible for preparing actionable financial insights, supporting business planning and working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen reporting, forecasting accuracy and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

Support preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts and periodic business plans, including validation of key assumptions with business teams.

Prepare monthly financial performance reports covering actuals vs. budget/forecast, revenue trends, and key variance drivers.

Analyse financial and operational trends and convert complex data into clear insights for management review.

Partner with business teams to gather inputs, understand business drivers, validate assumptions and challenge data inconsistencies.

Develop and maintain financial models (both recurring and ad-hoc) to support budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making.

Contribute to process improvement, automation and standardization of FP&A reporting, dashboards and planning templates.

Ensure accuracy of FP&A outputs and alignment with accounting principles, internal controls and financial reporting requirements.

Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel, including lookups, logical formulas, pivot tables, and advanced analytical functions, along with strong working knowledge of MS PowerPoint and MS Word.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial and operational data, identify trends, and highlight key business drivers.

Good understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, accruals, variance analysis and management reporting.

Ability to prepare clear reports and present financial insights concisely to finance and business stakeholders.

High attention to detail, ownership mindset, process orientation and ability to manage recurring reporting timelines with accuracy.

Candidate should be comfortable working in a growing FP&A setup with evolving processes and high expectations on accuracy and turnaround time.

Prior exposure to technology-enabled businesses, SaaS, private credit, financial services or analytics-led businesses will be an added advantage.

Working knowledge of Power BI, ERP systems or finance automation tools will be an added advantage.
