- Mise en Place: Preparing ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and seasoning fruits, vegetables, and meats.
- Station Support: Assisting the Chef de Partie with cooking tasks and maintaining an organized, clean workstation.
- Food Safety & Hygiene: Ensuring all food items are stored properly and adhering to health and safety regulations, including cleaning spills immediately.
- Stock Management: Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries; reporting low inventory to supervisors.
- Cooking Assistance: Preparing basic components of dishes, such as sauces or salads, as directed.
