Job Summary
ShikshaSphere is looking for an experienced Computer Teacher to conduct high-quality online live classes for students of Classes 9 and 10.
The candidate should possess strong knowledge of computer fundamentals, information technology, digital applications, cybersecurity and introductory programming concepts relevant to the prescribed school curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct interactive Computer live classes for Classes 9 and 10.
- Cover the prescribed Computer and Information Technology curriculum.
- Teach computer fundamentals, hardware, software and operating systems.
- Explain digital documentation, spreadsheets, presentations and databases.
- Teach internet concepts, digital citizenship and cybersecurity.
- Cover introductory programming and practical computer applications, wherever prescribed.
- Conduct theory and practical demonstration sessions.
- Solve textbook exercises, practical assignments and previous papers.
- Conduct chapter tests, practical assessments and mock examinations.
- Prepare class notes, worksheets, assignments and revision material.
- Record software demonstrations and chapter-wise educational videos.
- Create educational short videos for YouTube and social media.
Required Skills
- Graduation in Computer Science, Information Technology or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Computer/IT curriculum for Classes 9 and 10.
- Proficiency in office applications, internet technologies and computer fundamentals.
- Basic programming and database knowledge.
- Ability to demonstrate software and practical concepts during live classes.
- Excellent Hindi and English communication skills.
- Previous online or YouTube teaching experience is preferred.
