Engineer - Software / Electrical / Mechanical Design

Key Responsibilities
Participate in research, design, development and production of drone systems and components. Contribute to software development and control systems, electrical circuit design, or mechanical / hardware design according to technical expertise. Collaborate across software, hardware, mechanical, manufacturing and testing teams throughout the product-development cycle. Conduct testing, performance evaluation and troubleshooting to improve system reliability and product quality. Prepare technical documentation, presentations and design records and support continuous improvement activities. Support practical UAV development and production activities, including prototype assembly, testing or drone-operation work where relevant.

Ideal Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering field; fresh graduates, recent graduates and experienced professionals are considered. Strong candidates bring practical software, electrical, mechanical, testing or manufacturing skills and can collaborate across disciplines.
Eligibility & Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher; Master's / PhD candidates are also welcome. Relevant majors include Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Aerospace and Automotive Engineering.
Experience: Fresh graduates, recent graduates and experienced professionals may apply. Product development, robotics or practical engineering experience is advantageous.
Language Skills: Japanese around JLPT N3 or above is preferred but negotiable; English at daily-conversation level is required.
Industry Interest: Industrial drones, UAVs, robotics, embedded systems, electronics, mechanical design, manufacturing and advanced mobility.
Required Skills:
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical background for software, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing or testing work.
- At least one relevant technical skill area: Linux / C / Python / STM / AWS / JavaScript / HTML; analog/digital/power circuit design; or SolidWorks and mechanical-part design.
- Japanese around JLPT N3 preferred and practical English communication for engineering teamwork.
- Ability to work across design, testing, troubleshooting, documentation and multidisciplinary product-development activities.
- Preferred Skills
- Experience in product development, robotics development or a related internship.
- Experience with drone operation, experimental testing, FTA, drone assembly or production quality control.
- Capability across more than one technical category, plus basic PC skills such as PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Working Conditions
Working Hours: Flexible work system; original posting states core hours of 9:00-18:00 Holidays: Two days off per week (Saturday and Sunday), national holidays, year-end / New Year holidays, summer vacation and paid leave
Salary Range: Approx. JPY 4,000,000-5,500,000 per year; negotiable depending on experience and skills Salary Type Monthly salary
Probation Period: 3 months Japanese Language JLPT N3 or above preferred; negotiable based on practical communication ability
