Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified Plant Chemist for Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) laboratory operations. The candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory analysis, monitoring water and wastewater quality parameters, and supporting plant operations through testing and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory testing of wastewater and treated water samples
- Monitor physical, chemical, and biological parameters as per standards
- Maintain laboratory records, reports, and test documentation
- Ensure proper handling and calibration of laboratory instruments
- Support plant operations by analyzing treatment efficiency
- Follow safety, quality, and environmental compliance procedures
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of STP laboratory testing and wastewater analysis
- Familiarity with water quality parameters and testing methods
- Ability to maintain laboratory documentation and reports
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in STP laboratory operations
- Experience in wastewater treatment testing and analysis
- Good communication and coordination skills
