- Lab Technician – AutoCAD & Design Computing:Set up, configure, and maintain all CAD workstations, peripherals (plotters, scanners, printers) and networking equipment in the AutoCAD laboratory.

- Maintain an up-to-date record of software licences, hardware inventory, and maintenance logs.

- Support faculty in developing CAD-based lab manuals, exercise sheets, and tutorial materials.Assist in compiling, printing, and distributing CAD-based lab materials prepared by faculty.
- Coordinate with vendors for annual maintenance contracts (AMC), hardware repairs, and software renewals.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and liaise with the IT department for resolution.
- Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and student project demonstrations related to design computing.
- Ensure data backup of student project files and server data at regular intervals.

- Lab Technician : Machines & Manufacturing :Operate, set up, and demonstrate conventional machines including lathe, milling, drilling, grinding, and shaping machines for student practical sessions.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance (lubrication, alignment, tool changes, belt replacements) on all workshop machines as per manufacturer schedules.

- Prepare machine tools, cutting tools, fixtures, and jigs prior to each practical session; reset after session completion.

- Maintain tool inventory, consumable stock registers (coolant, lubricants, abrasives, raw material billets), and raise indent requests in a timely manner.
- Assist faculty in conducting experiments related to material testing, heat treatment observation, and casting/welding demonstrations.
- Support CNC machine operations (lathe / milling) including program loading, work-holding setup, and post-machining inspection.
- Maintain machine log books, breakdown reports, and maintenance history registers.
- Assist in training students on safe machine operation and workshop discipline.
- Coordinate with vendors for breakdown repairs, AMC services, and spare parts procurement.
- Ensure cleanliness, 5S standards, and systematic organization of the workshop at all times.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
