Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Ticketing Executive based in Ahmedabad. The Senior Ticketing Executive will be responsible for managing domestic and international air ticketing operations, handling reservations, issuing and reissuing tickets, managing refunds and cancellations, and ensuring smooth end-to-end booking processes.
The role requires strong expertise in Amadeus and Galileo (GDS platforms), including efficient queue management (Queuing). The candidate must communicate effectively with clients, airlines, and internal teams while ensuring accuracy, compliance with airline policies, and timely service delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in the travel industry
- Strong proficiency in Amadeus & Galileo (GDS systems)
- Expertise in Domestic & International Ticketing
- Hands-on experience in Queuing and GDS operations
- Knowledge of fare rules, reissuance, refunds & cancellations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving mindset
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work in shifts
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ahmedabad-based candidates preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Travel Management, Hospitality, or related field is preferred
