Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Assistant Manager - HR & Admin to oversee our day-to-day human resources and administrative operations. In this role, you will be a key driver in fostering a positive workplace culture, streamlining HR processes, and ensuring seamless office administration. The ideal candidate balances strong interpersonal skills with robust operational expertise.
Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources
- Talent Acquisition: Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Handle confirmation processes, performance appraisal cycles, promotions and transfers.
- HR Policies & Compliance: Ensure company policies align with local labor laws and statutory regulations, and update employee handbooks as needed.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and engaging work environment.
- Payroll & Benefits Support: Coordinate with the finance team on monthly payroll inputs, leave management, attendance tracking, and employee benefits administration.
Administration & Facility Management
- Office Operations: Oversee general office administration, ensuring a well-maintained, safe, and fully functional workspace.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and contractors (housekeeping, staff & labours, security, IT hardware, stationery, etc.), negotiating contracts for cost-effectiveness.
- Inventory & Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of office assets, supplies, and equipment, conducting periodic audits.
- Travel & Event Coordination: Oversee corporate travel arrangements and manage logistics for company meetings, events, and training sessions.
- Safety & Security: Implement and monitor workplace safety protocols, emergency procedures, and security measures.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in an HR and Admin dual role (preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of labor laws, statutory compliance, HR best practices, and office management procedures.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- High emotional intelligence with strong conflict-resolution capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience using HRIS/HRMS software.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
